Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals
The Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals 2nd Edition was underwritten by the National Certification
Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP). The course curricula were written and developed by authorities in the
activities profession who are adult training and development experts, activity administrators and practitioners,
gerontologists, university professors, mental health group leaders and licensed long term care administrators.
The Instructor, Joy Cornelius, has completed the recent MEPAP 2nd Edition Training Course the course will be
pre-approved by NCCAP. Guest Speakers are qualified to instruct course areas in their field of expertise. A vita and
profile and maintained on file with the ALTCQI.
The MEPAP 2nd Edition classes will begin July 9, 2007. The course requirements and application are below
for interested individuals to review. The next class will be taught in Alabama and all Long Term Care facilities
within the state will be mailed a brochure to the attention of the activity director.
Interested individuals outside the state of Alabama are welcomed to attend.
