The ALTCQI established the Certified Quality and Risk Management Specialist Training Program in 2000. The program was designed to train and educate Long-Term Care Professionals in the most recent and effective techniques related to quality assurance, risk management and regulatory compliance. An interdisciplinary team of experienced health care professionals have contributed countless hours to the development, preparation, and instruction of this program. Since its inception, hundreds of Long-Term Care Professionals have successfully completed the program. To date, the CQRMS Training Program has been taught in Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri, and Iowa.
